DBI has been authorized by Reserve Bank of India (RBI) as a non banking finance company (NBFC) and also as a restricted money changer. Portfolio Management Services are to be provided through Dundee Capital Markets Private Limited (“DCM”) a merchant banking subsidiary registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). Dundee Financial Services Pvt. Ltd. (“DFS”) is a leasing & hire purchase NBFC registered with RBI. DBI also manages Dundee’s interest in precious metals mining and exploration in India through Dundee Precious Metals Private Limited.The Dundee Bank, incorporated in the Cayman Islands, is in the process of applying for a representative office license and has entered into Memoranda of Understanding to promote Local Area Banks in the states of Haryana and Punjab.Dundee Mutual Funds - India Dundee Mutual Funds was registered with the Securities Exchange Board of India (“SEBI”) in September, 1998 to be managed by Dundee Investment Management & Research Private Limited (DIMR) as the Asset Management Company with Dundee Trust Private Limited as Trustee.Dundee Investment Management & Research – India Dundee Investment Management & Research Private Limited provides investment management and administrative services to Dundee Mutual Funds. DIMR works as a tightly knit team with senior managers who have had exposure in the Indian and the international financial markets. This group forms the core of the investment management team which is supported by a group of investment analysts with specific sector specialisations.
